Who We Are

WVB – We Value Batteries was founded by Remmelt Blom and Abner Aber, combining decades of experience in project logistics, compliance, and lithium-ion battery technology.

Remmelt brings deep expertise in complex logistics, including the safe collection and transport of large industrial battery parks and EV battery systems. Abner adds strong compliance knowledge and technical expertise in lithium battery regulations, testing, classification, and safe handling.

Together, we created WVB in response to the rapidly growing demand for responsible end-of-life solutions for lithium-ion batteries. Companies increasingly need practical, compliant, and sustainable ways to manage used batteries—and we saw the need for one integrated partner who can handle the entire process.

At WVB, we combine logistics, technical testing, compliance, refurbishment opportunities, and recycling into one clear solution—helping our clients stay compliant, recover value, and contribute to a more sustainable battery lifecycle.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to give lithium-ion batteries a responsible and valuable end-of-life.

We combine logistics, technical expertise, and compliance into one integrated solution that unburdens our clients while maximising reuse, enabling sustainable recycling, and ensuring full regulatory confidence. By managing the entire process—from collection and testing to refurbishment or recycling—we help create shared value for our clients and contribute to a safer, more sustainable battery lifecycle.

Our Vision

Our vision is a circular future where every lithium-ion battery is safely collected, responsibly reused where possible, and sustainably recycled at end-of-life.

We strive to be the trusted partner for global battery lifecycle management, turning complexity into shared value for our clients while setting the standard for safe logistics, compliant handling, and environmentally responsible reuse and recycling—creating lasting value for industry, society, and the planet.
